Another busy weekend at QH saw us trying to add some green to the barren wasteland that is the duck zone. So far in the past all our efforts have been in vein, with the ducks eating anything remotely plant like as soon as it hits the ground.
Not wanting to spend a fortune on plants that would ultimately end up fertilizing the hanging gardens, we decided to have a look around the rest of QH and see what we could transplant.
We found a few plants which for my sins I have no idea what they are (answers on a message please (Just the ones in the ground not in the hanging gardens)) and planted around the pond. So far so good (ish) Mostly they have gone untouched. I also planted in some Rosemary, which I have read that they do not like, and a Fig tree, which I am hoping will be to big for them to tackle. Time will tell.
