We have been taking advantage of the hot weather to do a little bit of maintenance around Quackington Haven in the last few weeks.

The old Hen House has had a bit of a make over. A little while ago something predatory managed to get in an killed one of our hens, we’re still not sure what it was, either a big rat, or a weasel or something similar. It had chewed its way through a weak point.

So we have strengthened the wood, blocked up the holes and given the house a paint job. The residents seem much much happier now.
